How can I create a course as an instructor if I have a student account?

If you have an existing student account but require an instructor or TA account:
- access course that already exists - the creator of the course can add you as an instructor or a TA on the roster. Once you have been given instructor or TA access to an existing course, you can create your own courses, add students, create assignments, etc.
- create new courses - if you cannot be added as an instructor/TA by someone in your institution, contact us at help@gradescope.com.
If your instructor account gets created using a different email address than the one associated with your student account, you can always merge the two. To learn how see the article on merging accounts.
